I'm meetinged out.

In the last two weeks, I have been at my desk, actually accomplishing something for a grand total of about three hours. If I am called to another "important" meeting, I'm going to scream.

If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be "meetings."

I remember way back in the early '80s, when St. Gerard's, Sts. Peter & Paul and Holy Family were in the beginning stages of consolidation, there were so many meetings. One day Fr. Fitzgerald came in to the teachers' lounge. He looked haggard and tired and grumpy. He flopped down on one of the chairs and said, "I've finally figured out what hell is like. It's one long meeting with no agenda."

Perhaps you should hold a meeting to discuss the prospect of not holding any more meetings?
